Description
Zapcord™ (10g/m) detonating cord possesses all the handling and reliability advantages of the other Primacord® detonating cords. Zapcord™ detonating cord is recommended to be used as trunklines and downlines in severe surface or underground blasting applications. It is most commonly used as a downline where continuity throughout the column is to be ensured.Primacord® detonating cord is essentially the core load coupled with a difference in the degree of protection afforded by the encasements. Various combinations of materials such as textiles and plastics cover the raw PETN (Pentaerythritol Tetranitrate) core. The textiles used provide tensile strength and fl exibility, as well as resistance to abrasion and cutting, extremes of heat and cold or water and oil penetration.
