Description
E-cord® (5g/m) detonating cord is flexible and easy to handle which readily ties and holds knots. E-cord® detonating cord is commonly used as a surface trunkline, lead-in-line and down line. E-cord® detonating cord will detonate through standard knots and will initiate other detonating cords.Primacord® detonating cord is essentially the core load coupled with a difference in the degree of protection afforded by the encasements. Various combinations of materials such as textiles and plastics cover the raw PETN (Pentaerythritol Tetranitrate) core. The textiles used provide tensile strength and fl exibility, as well as resistance to abrasion and cutting, extremes of heat and cold or water and oil penetration.
