The DaveyTronic® SP Digital Blasting System consists of a new generation Remote Blaster (DRB2), 2 Programming Units (PU) and a robust integrated Blast Driver (DBD). The system facilitates the optimising of timing patterns for all surface blast applications, enables remote blasting capability up to a maximum of 4500 DaveyTronic® programmable electronic detonators per blast (3 Blast Driver configuration in either Synchronised or Multi-blast blast modes). It further facilitates for programming of delays from 0 to 14000ms in 1ms steps with an accuracy of 0.02% of the programmed delay and full functional testing of detonators in the hole. The DaveyTronic® SP Digital Blasting System facilitates a Remote Blaster that controls numerous Blast Drivers located at different areas of the mine allowing for several blasts to be fired simultaneously from a central location. This feature allows for full synchronization of multi blast applications improving blast performance including improved and uniformal fragmentation, improved muckpile control to enhance excavation, dilution control, improved vibration control and repeatability. This allows for far larger blasts reducing downtime and increasing productivity.
